Upcoming Extended MaintenanceBoth the US and EU are having eight hour maintenance again this week.

Patch 7.3.5 PTR - Build 25875
Another little build went out to the PTR today. Mimiron's Head is back in the dungeon Journal and NPC health changes are in.
NPC Health Changes
The previously mentioned fix for Mists of Pandaria and Warlords bosses is in this build. A fix for Normal and Heroic dungeon NPCs having the wrong amount of health is also in.
Mists of Pandaria
- Raid boss health reduced by 32% compared to live. Immerseus (Normal 10) now has 4.05 million health compared to 5.95 million on live.
- Level 90 NPC health reduced by 51% (at Player Level 100)
- Level 90 NPC health reduced by 32% (at Player Level 90)
Warlords of Draenor
- Raid boss health reduced by 42% compared to live.
- Level 90 NPC health reduced by 7% (at Player Level 90)
- Level 95 NPC health reduced by 9% (at Player Level 95)
- Level 98 NPC health reduced by 22% (at Player Level 98)
- Level 99 NPC health reduced by 33% (at Player Level 99)
- Level 100 NPC health reduced by 42% (at Player Level 100)

We're taking a look back at old MMO-Champion posts and World of Warcraft news that occurred during this time in previous years.Mists of Pandaria Challenge Modes
The first iteration of highly challenging dungeons was introduced in Mists of Pandaria. Challenge modes were timed runs, which standardized everyone's gear to prevent overpowering. Rewards included mounts, transmog, titles and pets based on time scores. This system was also used in Warlords of Draenor with some minor tweaks, which then evolved into the Mythic+ system we see in Legion.
Isle of the Thunder King
Patch 5.2 brought the Isle of the Thunder King daily zone. This new area had a variety of factions and monsters. This zone is still accessible via a portal near the Shado-Pan Garrison in Townlong Steppes and could be an interesting place to visit to anyone who hasn’t collected the Throne of Thunder transmog items, or the mount from Nalak.
Iron Skyreaver
The newest addition to the Blizzard Shop was the Iron Skyreaver during Warlords of Draenor. This mount was bred for war by the Iron Horde beastmasters, and is still available for purchase.
Anniversary Gifts
In early 2015 Blizzard sent out a statue of an orc riding a wolf to all the members of the community who have been subscribed to the game since the beginning. Marking the 10 year anniversary of these players and as a token of appreciation, one time veteran gifts were sent to all eligible players.
Songs of Azeroth Act 4
AFK PL@YERS released their newest episode of the Songs of Azeroth songs. Act 4, “Home Is Where The War Is” commemorates PvP players and their dedication to battlegrounds.
The Nighthold

The opening of Nighthold marked the first real tier of the expansion. Tier 19 had 11 bosses ending with the defeat of Gul’dan. The opening of the raid also meant that it was time to upgrade our legendary items. For the first time in Legion, players were given a repeatable quest to upgrade all legendary items from their base 910 item level to 940. This system was kept for all following raids, and is now used as a catch-up mechanic for players who are still missing legendaries.Patch 7.2 On PTR
This content patch brought many changes and developments to story lines of the expansion. All classes got to continue their Order Hall Campaign and earn new followers. The Broken Shore was added as a new quest hub for the Tomb of Sargeras, and brought a new faction along with new world quests. One of the most anticipated feature of this patch was the Mage Tower challenge, which allows players to try themselves against a tough boss to unlock a new artifact appearance.
Class Mounts
The hype was building after the announcement of class mounts at Blizzcon. Patch 7.2 introduced the mount models, and soon it was found that completing the Breaching the Tomb achievement, along with the new Order Hall Campaign, would unlock them. Most of the mounts have specific color patterns indicating the specialization of the player riding it.
